Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Greens Marketz website, accounts, marketplace, ordering tools, and related services. By creating an account, listing products, placing an order, or otherwise using Greens Marketz, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Greens Marketz for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
• Account information must be accurate, current, and complete.
• You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity performed through your account.
• You must notify Greens Marketz promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.
• We may require identity, farm, business, bank, or product verification before enabling certain marketplace features.

Greens Marketz's role

Greens Marketz provides technology that helps independent farmers and sellers offer agricultural goods directly to buyers. Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, Greens Marketz is not the grower, owner, or seller of products listed by third parties.

Sellers are responsible for their listings and products. Buyers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, quantities, prices, delivery details, and seller information before ordering. We may facilitate payments, communications, delivery coordination, reviews, refunds, and dispute resolution without becoming a party to every transaction.

Listings, orders, prices, and payments

• Product availability, quality grade, weight, harvest date, growing method, and other listing details must be accurate.
• Prices and fees displayed at checkout apply to the order. Taxes, delivery fees, service fees, or other charges will be shown before payment where applicable.
• An order is confirmed only after payment authorisation and seller acceptance. We may cancel or limit an order because of stock, pricing errors, suspected fraud, safety concerns, delivery limits, or legal requirements.
• Payments may be processed by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
• Seller payouts may be delayed or withheld where reasonably necessary to process refunds, investigate disputes, manage chargebacks, or comply with law.

Delivery, inspection, returns, and refunds

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by harvest conditions, weather, traffic, product availability, or events outside reasonable control. Buyers must provide a complete delivery address and be available to receive perishable goods.

Inspect produce promptly after delivery. Missing, damaged, unsafe, or materially misdescribed goods should be reported through the support channel within the period shown in the order or returns policy, with photographs or other reasonable evidence where requested.

Because fresh produce is perishable, returns based only on a change of mind may not be accepted. Approved remedies may include replacement, account credit, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the issue and applicable law.

Farmer and seller responsibilities

Farmers and sellers must:

• Have the right to grow, possess, market, and sell each listed product.
• Meet applicable food safety, labelling, packaging, measurement, licensing, tax, and agricultural requirements.
• Describe growing methods and certifications truthfully and avoid unsupported claims.
• Supply products that are safe, fresh, fit for their stated purpose, and consistent with the listing.
• Maintain accurate inventory and fulfil accepted orders on time.
• Cooperate with reasonable quality, safety, recall, refund, and dispute investigations.

Acceptable use

You may not use Greens Marketz to:

• Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate unsafe activity.
• Sell prohibited, stolen, counterfeit, contaminated, illegally produced, or mislabelled goods.
• Provide false information, impersonate another person, manipulate reviews, or misrepresent product origin or quality.
• Harass users, send spam, distribute malware, scrape data without permission, interfere with security, or overload the service.
• Avoid platform fees or misuse buyer or seller contact details obtained through a transaction.
• Use Greens Marketz content, data, or systems to build a competing database or service without written permission.

User content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of photographs, descriptions, reviews, messages, and other content you submit. You grant Greens Marketz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the marketplace.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it is accurate and lawful. Greens Marketz's name, branding, interface, software, design, and original content belong to Greens Marketz or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Greens Marketz is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous product availability, exact delivery times, or that every buyer, seller, listing, review, or third-party service will meet your expectations.

Green AI provides automated suggestions based on current marketplace listings. Its responses are for general product discovery and marketplace assistance only. Users should confirm prices, availability, delivery details, food suitability, and business decisions before relying on a response.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Greens Marketz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the marketplace.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits the consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Greens Marketz at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or close an account or listing where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, a user or the public may be at risk, payment is overdue, fraud is suspected, or action is required by law.

Terms that by their nature should continue after account closure, including payment obligations, intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will remain in effect.

Disputes, governing terms, and changes

Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by the laws that apply where Greens Marketz is legally established, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available where you live.

We may update these terms to reflect service, business, safety, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of that term.
